ATLANT3D wins 3D Pioneers Challenge in Electronics 2020

We are thrilled to announce that our team won one of the most prestigious international 3D printing competition for additive manufacturing technologies in the World – 3D Pioneers Challenge. We are honoured to receive such feedback from key innovators and scientists.

Christoph Völcker, the founder of the 3D Pioneers Challenge said: “It’s impressive, this startup from Denmark invented a printer with different materials you use for electronics at a nano size – just imagine the quality!”. Followed by Dr Marco Nock, Director Innovation Management Electro Optical Systems: “Of all the very good proposals we have seen, we have chosen the one which we see a groundbreaking innovation in front of us. It opens up new possibilities in the field of micro and nano 3D printing by allowing printing on an atomic level. We believe there is a huge potential for this kind of technology and we keep our fingers crossed for the team and their technology.”

We would like to thank the jury for recognising the potential of our disruptive technology that is solving an unmet need of faster, more affordable and cleaner micro and nanofabrication at a push of a button leading to Industry 4.0 with atomic precision.

We foresee that our technology is the key to democratisation and decentralisation of advanced nanotechnology-based solutions for micro and nanodevices prototyping and manufacturing.

Recent COVID-19 crisis showed the vulnerability of the supply chain for different microdevice components and a huge need for fast development of microfluidic smart devices for biomedical applications.

Our solution can simplify and decentralise the supply chain and create a local R&D infrastructure for the rapid innovation of micro and nanodevices. Besides the crisis, we foresee the huge positive impact for the innovations and in the advanced materials, MEMS and Sensors applications that face increased demand from several derivative markets, such as IoT and many other.

By providing access to our technology via decentralised networks to atomically precise additive manufacturing we will boost applied science research, deep tech innovations, and increase the number of opportunities for innovation. Since our technology is cost, time and waste efficient we also predict a huge positive impact on the environment by saving energy and potential hazard waste.
