As MICROTECH Scientist and Project Manager, you will be part of the team which is responsible for developing core Microtech R&D and micro and nanotech-related applications internally and for customers and will report to the Head of Applications Development.  In your daily work, you will be:

·      Leading projects in microfabrication development, both developments of core IP and demonstration processes/devices
·      Participating and coordinating idea generation and brainstorming with the technical team
·      Leading projects and participating in process development, material development, and system upgrades
·      Leading projects and participating in customer projects (selling meetings, proposal writing, reporting)
·      Contributing to patent applications and other IPR
·      Contributing to application writing and project management for public funding
·      Collaborate with others in the team with many different backgrounds and tasks.

The purpose of your work is to expand the validation and idea generation of our technology and the development of great applications together with customers. Your contribution will have a high impact on the direction we take towards developing our core technology and microfabrication service offerings in the near future.

skill traits and KEY COMPetences

·  You are a self-driven and responsible Teamworker.
·  You have good communication skills and like to present and discuss your results with your colleagues, external partners, and customers.
·  You have experience with cleanroom technology, (it is a bonus if already trained at DTU).
·   Knowledge of microfabrication processes and devices.
·   You have experience in working with chemicals in a safe manner.
·   It is advantageous if you have experience with ALD, PVD, SEM, thin-film materials, wet and dry etching.
·   Process flow development, mask layout, and experiment design are a plus.
